A hello from me

Kia ora! I’m Ashley.

I confess, I keep things simple. I follow my eye, and trust my ears to take me on a journey.

Over the past ten years, I’ve been knee-deep in the world of media, driven by an unwavering passion for visual and sonic storytelling. Creating isn’t just what I do; it’s woven into the fabric of who I am, a lifestyle that’s been with me from the get-go.

Originally from Kapiti, I spent my 20’s in Auckland, Aotearoa rubbing shoulders with heavy hitters in hospitality and the music industry. I have spent the better part of a decade working as a music producer, artist and performer, with considerable experience creating publicity, marketing campaigns and it’s there that I found a love of story telling.

Later moving back to Wellington I joined Werk Agency. I honed my craft as an in-house photographer and videographer, tackling everything from agency-led campaigns to monthly brand content shoots. I’ve collaborated with the likes of Trade Me, Oranga Tamariki, NZ Police, The Reserve Bank of New Zealand, and a bunch more.

Admittedly having kids flipped a switch for me – cliché, but so true. It ignited a fresh drive and purpose. I saw a gap for a content business that shines a light on the change makers among us, without over-promising on services. That’s where my journey as a creative producer kicked off.

Four years on, and we’ve expanded quite a bit. I’m proud of the diverse clientele we’ve amassed and the incredible team of artists and collaborators I get to work alongside. Navigating the ever-evolving media landscape or launching something you deeply believe in can be daunting. That’s where I step in, bridging the gap between vision and execution.
